Alta Loma’s wrestling and girls water polo remain undefeated in league play

The Alta Loma Braves athletic teams have found its stride in league with both the wrestling team and the girls water polo team undefeated in league play.

The Braves varsity wrestling defeated Ontario, 57-10, on Thursday.
 
The wrestling team is 3-0 right now in Mt. Baldy League action.

Among the wrestlers that won last night, was Trenton Adams, who pinned his opponent in the 3rd period by pinfall.
 
The junior varsity wrestling team also defeated Ontario, 57-24.
 
The Braves girls water polo team defeated Don Lugo, 10-2, to pick up its fifth straight league win.
 
The Braves have now defeated every team in the first round of scheduled Mt. Baldy League play this season and remain in first place.
 
Against Don Lugo, Lexy Poveda had three goals in the win.
 
According to water polo coach Kevin Nesbit, the Braves’ girls water polo program has not won league in the last 52 years but feels they are on track to do so this season.
