Angels to begin, end 2014 season against Seattle Mariners.

The Angels built some symmetry into their 2014 schedule, opening the season March 31 at home against the Seattle Mariners and ending the season with three games in Seattle Sept. 26-28.

That’s a marked change from 2013, when the Angels began the season on the road in Cincinnati with a historic season-opening interleague series against the Reds.

After a six-game road swing through Houston and Seattle, the Angels will return home on April 11 for their first interleague series of the year, a three-game set against the New York Mets.

The Angels also play interleague series against the Nationals (in Washington), Phillies (in Philadelphia), Braves (in Atlanta), Dodgers (two in Los Angeles, two in Anaheim Aug. 4-8), Phillies again (at home on Aug. 12-13) and Marlins (at home).
