Redlands East Valley players continue to land college football offers

Junior linebacker Jaelan Phillips became the second member from Redlands East Valley High School to receive an offer from the University of Washington.

It is the first offer Phillips, according to REV football coach Kurt Bruich when he shared the news on Twitter yesterday.

As reported earlier this week, REV’s Khris Vaughn was the other player to land an offer from Washington.

Senior defensive tackle Shynol McClain also received his first offer from Trinity International University.

Lokeni Toailoa names top choices, will verbally commit March 23

Rialto Carter High linebacker Lokeni Toailoa has confirmed that he will make his verbal commitment on March 23 at the Athletic Republic in Ontario.

Toailoa has several offers but took to Twitter on Saturday to announce his list of seven schools he has interest in.

The list is in no particular order:

  • UCLA
  • Notre Dame
  • USC
  • Oregon
  • Utah
  • Washington
  • Oklahoma

Summit’s Stephen Carr receives an offer from USC

Summit Skyhawks sophomore RB Stephen Carr has been offered by the USC Trojans football program.

Carr received his first offer from the Washington Huskies followed by the Colorado Buffaloes.

Aside from playing football for the Skyhawks, he also ran for the track team as a freshman.

VIDEO: Nate Meadors talks Boise State football and other college options

 

Quarterback Nate Meadors spoke after San Gorgonio’s CIF-SS Inland Division Playoff victory about his first official visit to Boise State and how he will fit in well with the program.

Meadors had 13 carries for 261 yards and four rushing touchdowns against Cajon High. He also went 6 of 14 passing for 122 yards and two passing touchdowns.
