Looks like the owner of Nadine’s Irish Mist is newly single, so maybe we should schedule a get-together down in Sunset Beach for the readers. Maybe Cheryl Cole can make an appearance since she has more free time these days.

In The Zone
USC women’s basketball coach Michael Cooper continues his most-noticeable job as an analyst on the Channel 7 post-NBA Finals show tonight. I suppose the visibility of being on TV makes up for the fact he might not be working as hard on his day job right now.
But I’ll cut Cooper a mini-break because he no longer needs to worry about getting outcoached by Nikki Caldwell, the former UCLA coach.
USC v. UCLA
I wonder what there is to talk about? Recruiting? Pac-12 South Division?
Sightings
Former USC QB Matt Leinart at the Hermosa Beach Arts Fair over the weekend.

Baseball Game
USC’s season is over but there is baseball tonight at Dedeaux Field when Bishop Amat plays Torrance at 6:30 in the Southern Section Division IV semifinals. Bishop Amat features shortstop Rio Ruiz, who is already committed to USC, but likely to turn pro when he graduates in 2012.
Logo Winner
Here’s the logo chosen by the fans for the Pac-12 football title game. I would have picked this one logo as my third choice. Here’s the results:
Logo Two – 33.77 percent
Logo Three – 31.89 percent
Logo One – 22.08 percent
Logo Four – 12.26 percent
If you forgot the four logo choices, they are after the jump.
Open Forum
It’s time to take more questions post-NCAA, post-Jim Tressel. One per person please.
Starr Commitment
USC received a commitment from Norco linebacker Scott Starr, who is ranked the 110th-best player in the nation by Rivals.com.
