South Pasadena 66, La Canada 58 — The Tigers and Spartans are now tied atop the Rio Hondo League after South Pas turned the tables on LC after a loss to Sparty earlier this month. Elise Takahama scored 13 of her game-high in the decisive third quarter.

Pasadena 78, Muir 58 — The Bulldogs got 28 points from Ajon Efferson, who answered with three 3-pointers in the fourth quarter after Muir cut it to 54-45 with seven minutes, to rout the Mustangs. PHS also got 20 from Rayjon Moore. Muir’s Dejon Williams was held to 11 and the Mustangs were led by Chris Ballew’s 20.
La Canada 68, Temple City 62 — The Spartans rallied in the fourth quarter after trailing most of the game. This game will go a long way toward determining the Rio Hondo League championship and as of now the Spartans appear on their way back to the top.
Muir 71, Burroughs 69 — The Stangs just upped the stakes of Friday’s rivalry game with PHS by stunning Burroughs. Dejon Williams scored 44 points to help Muir pull it off. Muir still has some work to do in the league standings, but if it can beat PHS, too, this could be one heckuva a week.
Keppel 50, Schurr 24 — The Aztecs got 24 from Adam Thompson, 11 of which came in the first quarter, and remained unbeaten in the Almont League. So much for Schurr being a threat to Keppel.
