Downtown LA’s Angel City Brewery marks one-year anniversary with its second Music and Arts Festival

The event will allow the brewery to showcase its newly-renovated Mezzanine and “a giant shed space” that will house the brewery’s performing arts presentations.

Fun fact: Angel City is only two blocks from the Little Tokyo/Arts District stop on the gold line, and is encouraging festival-goers to take advantage of the city’s public transportation by giving $1 off a pint to anyone who takes a bus, or the Metro.

Event highlights include:

  • A giant second anniversary toast beginning at 1:30pm.
  • Numerous food trucks offering an urban beer picnic.
  • Brewer-led tours & beer tastings.
  • ACB canvas public painting project.
  • Theatrical performances by Frontierville.
  • An Angel City arcade will feature games such as ping pong, darts and board games.
  • Outdoor artisan bazaar with handmade accessories, thrift finds, and art prints.
  • Special beer releases including Imperial Tart Cherry, Barrel-Aged Rye Lager, Mexican-Style Cola Ale, French Sip, Imperial Chai Stout, and Oktoberfest, as well as the usual draft flavors including White Nite, Angeleno IPA, Eureka! Wit, and Gold Line Pilsner.
