In case anyone missed it, just graduated Whittier High School point guard Destiny Chavez signed her collegiate national letter of intent with local NAIA school Hope International University of Fullerton (across the street from Cal State Fullerton) on Wednesday afternoon at her new school.

Info About Tonight’s Hall of Fame Game
In case anyone is interested in seeing a little football, there is some nearby action at tonight’s National Football Foundation Hall of Fame All-Star Game.
The game is taking place at West Covina High, beginning at 7:30 p.m. and takes on an East versus West format with teams primarily in the San Gabriel Valley.
There are some local players on the West side, however, in Schurr’s Chris Chiramonte (WR), Alejandro Castro (S), Abraham Gonzalez (RB), Aaron Cantu (QB) and Albert Perez (OL/DL) and El Rancho sackmaster Ray Herrera (LB).
