Get a free Bloomin’ Onion at Outback Steakhouse tonight

He’s done it again!

Ryan Newman, driver of the No. 39 Chevrolet, came in seventh at yesterday’s Brickyard 400 in Indianapolis, so all you have to do is
mention his name and Outback Steakhouse will give you a Bloomin’ Onion with any purchase today (July 30).

Restrictions? Dine-in only. One per table. Offer subject to change. Participation may vary.

Outback has been giving away the appetizers on the following Monday whenever Ryan finishes in the top ten in any Sprint Cup Race.

Outback
Steakhouse locations can be found in Ontario, San Bernardino, Upland,
Victorville, Moreno Valley, Corona, Temecula and Palm Desert.

Half-price slice at Cheesecake Factory today

Today (June 30) is National Cheesecake Day, and as in previous years, the Cheesecake Factory is offering half off any slice of cheesecake — including the Oreo Dream Dream Extreme cheesecake, which debuted today — when you dine in.

However, if you sign up for this Facebook offer, you’ll have an extra day, tomorrow (July 31), to take advantage of the deal, in case you want to avoid the crowds.

Of course, if you’re a die-hard cheesecake fan, you can sign up for the Facebook offer and go both days!

The Cheesecake Factory has locations in the Inland Empire in Rancho Cucamonga, Riverside, Rancho Mirage.

Spend $5, get $10 worth of food at four select food trucks

Speaking of Google Offers, there’s a four-pack of food truck spend-$5-get-$10 vouchers up there right now.

Vouchers are available for:

You’ve got ’til Tuesday (July 31) to purchase, and ’til January 2, 2013 (July 26, 2013 for Seabirds) to use ’em.

The Lime Truck and our pals from Bacon MANia are regular visitors to Inland Empire events, and I’ve even seen Seabirds a time or two, so you won’t have to track them down in L.A. or Orange counties to take advantage. Unless you want to, of course!

Click here, here, here and here for more information or to purchase.

$29 Mount Baldy lunch deal returns

In a repeat of a deal offered back in May, one of the current Google Offers for Los Angeles is “$29 for $60 toward a ‘Lookout Lunch for Two’ on Mt. Baldy.”

What do you get for your $29?

Two round-trip chair lift tickets to the 7,800-foot-elevation Top of the Notch restaurant (up to $40 value) and $20 to spend on food and drinks while you’re there.

Lunch entres are $13.95 and under, so it may cost you a couple of bucks more for your food and drinks, but it’s still a decent price for one of the more unique dining experiences here in the Inland Empire, I think.

You’ve got until next Thursday (August 2) to purchase, but can redeem any time during daytime operating hours (from 11 a.m. Fridays and from 7 a.m. Saturdays and Sundays) through October 1.

Click here for more information or to purchase.

$25 gift certificates available for $5 today

SoCal Gift Cards is at it again.

Today (July 27) only, a limited selection of $25 gift certificates are available for only $5.

You’ve got to purchase at least four, however, to get the deal.

You can choose from:

Food trucks coming to Fontana Saturday

The fourth annual Fontana Arts Festival is this Saturday (July 28), and while I’ll probably enjoy browsing from the 50 artist booths and watching several performing artists, including the Lula Washington Dance Theatre and Cheng-Hsin Chinese Zither Orchestra of Los Angeles, you know what I’ll be most interested in.

Food trucks!

Our friends over at I.E. Gourmet Food Trucks are bringing three trucks to the event:

Oh, and did I mention it’s a free event?

We are so there!

The Fontana Arts Festival takes place from 5 to 9 p.m. at Fontana Park, 15556 Summit Ave.
