In conjunction with World Food Day (October 16), the personal finance website has once again ranked the Best Foodie Cities in America.

And once again, Inland Empire cities hover at the bottom of that list.

Buy an Isaac pizza at MOD Pizza and help save lives

MOD Pizza today (June 26) launched its first “Impact Pizza,” the sales of which will help generate funds for a nonprofit organization.

Sales of the pizzeria’s new Isaac pizza will benefit The Jed Foundation, which is dedicated to protecting emotional health and preventing suicide for our nation’s teens and young adults.

Farmer Boys responds to Panera CEO

Earlier this year, we discussed Panera Bread’s new breakfast sandwiches and that the chain discovered the Food and Drug Administration had no definition for what an “egg” is.

Panera’s research indicated that half of the top 10 fast-casual restaurants that offer breakfast have additives, such as butter-type flavors, gums and added color in their “eggs.”

In February, Inland Empire-based Farmer Boys fired back at Panera, and offered help for chains that don’t use real eggs.

McDonald’s brings back Szechuan Sauce…for reals this time

Yep…it's real.

McDonald’s has brought back its Szechuan dipping sauce nationwide for the first time since Mulan was in the theaters, back in 1998.

Well, except for that riot-inducing stunt back in October of last year that saw a limited number of restaurants getting a handful of the elusive sauce cups.
