Do you have a hidden talent?
The Jolly Green Giant has one that he’s willing to share, but only if you’re willing to share your hidden talent with him (and the rest of the world)!
If you’re up to the challenge, then head on out to Rancho Cucamonga’s Victoria Gardens today (January 31).
That’s where the Green Giant folks will be filming peoples’ hidden talents and handing out samples of the Green Giant’s new snacks.
Hungry? Short on cash?
Baker’s Drive-Thru has come to your rescue with today’s (January 30) coupon for a $1 chicken sandwich.
You can choose from grilled, Caribbean, teriyaki or Monterey varieties.
The sandwiches normally sell for $3.89…a whopping 74% savings!
As you may know, the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is celebrating its 50th anniversary.
Today (January 30), the chain is thanking its loyal customers by offering a free 16-ounce Anniversary Blend coffee or tea at participating locations.
The offer is valid all day, today only, and excludes Ralphs and airport locations.
We’ve been anticipating this for a while…the Riverside Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlour opens at 11 a.m. tomorrow (January 31)!
Many of you (myself included) remember the old Riverside Farrell’s at 10098 Magnolia Ave., which was converted years ago into a Coco’s Bakery Restaurant.
The new location, at 3610 Park Sierra Drive, threatens to put that old location to shame.
Formerly a Black Angus Steakhouse, it’s the largest of the chain at 8,700 square feet.
The McRib may have gone back into the vault, but McDonald’s has plenty to take its place.
First up are a new item, Fish McBites, which are basically the seafood equivalent of Chicken McNuggets.
Fish McBites are available in snack, regular and shareable sizes, as well as being an option for Happy Meals.
Also returning for the umpteenth time is the seasonal Shamrock Shake.
Fish McBites and the Shamrock Shake are available for a limited time.
Where will you be watching the big game on Sunday (February 3)?
Lazy Dog Cafe is enticing football fans (and the rest of us) with $3 to $6 Happy Hour food and drink specials all day.
Inland Empire locations include Rancho Cucamonga and Temecula.

Trader Joe’s “Two Buck Chuck” no longer exists.
The chain’s famous discount Charles Shaw wines had sold for $1.99 for 11 years, but the retailer recently had to raise the price.
The wine now sells for $2.49.
The new price is still a bargain, but “Two-Fifty Chuck” doesn’t have quite the same ring.
The grocer’s Inland Empire locations in Rancho Cucamonga, Redlands, Upland, Chino Hills, Claremont, Riverside, Corona, Cathedral City, Palm Desert and La Quinta.
Chili dog lovers take heed!
This is the final weekend for Wienerschnitzel’s 99¢ chili dog deal.
The offer has been running for most of the month, but comes to a close on Sunday (January 27).
Wienerschnitzel has locations throughout the Inland Empire.
The Rancho Cucamonga Dairy Queen (9694 Base Line) is having its Customer Appreciation Day tomorrow (January 26).
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and will feature half-price specials, such as $1.99 banana splits and 99¢ small cones.

This is why we can’t have nice things.
As I arrived to work today, I was greeted by David Allen, who told me that he received word that Rancho Cucamonga’s Rapour Restaurant and Lounge had shut down.
It’s a shame…and I’m not just saying that because they quoted me in their advertising.
