Reservations going fast for upcoming Grub Club event

It’s still nearly two weeks away, but reservations are going fast for the next Let’s Dine Out Show’s Grub Club event.

The next dinner is set for 6 p.m. February 8 at Spaggi’s Italian Grill, 1651 W. Foothill Blvd., Upland.

According to the Tweet below, only 14 seats remain as of Tuesday night.

The $43 cost per person is all-inclusive, and covers the food, tax, gratuity and non-alcoholic beverage.

Redlands MOD Pizza celebrates grand opening Tuesday with fundraiser

Redlands MOD Pizza grand openingWell, that didn’t take long.

MOD Pizza is opening its first Inland Empire pizzeria in the new Mountain Grove shopping center in Redlands, just a few weeks after the center’s first eatery — The Habit Burger Grill — opened.

The pizzeria is celebrating its grand opening tomorrow (December 8).

The first 52 customers in line when the restaurant opens at 11 a.m. will receive a free pizza or salad.

Help Brio Tuscan Grille celebrate its Sweet 16

Brio Sweet 16Brio Tuscan Grille — which has a location in Rancho Cucamonga’s Victoria Gardens — is hosting a Cheers to 16 Years celebration, which runs through August 16.

The event includes two limited-edition menu items, a “Pretty in Pink” Birthday Martini and a Raspberry Ricotta Cake.

Members of the chain’s loyalty program will save $16 when they spend $50.

Blaze Pizza giving away pizzas at its new Victoria Gardens location Friday

Blaze PizzaBlaze Pizza has arrived in Rancho Cucamonga’s Victoria Gardens and — as is tradition with the “fast fire’d” chain — it’s celebrating with a giveaway.

The pizzeria opens Thursday (June 11) and is giving away a free pizza on Friday (June 12) to followers of its social media feeds on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook. And, no, you won’t get three free pizzas for following on all three.

The giveaway takes place from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. at the new location, 7833 Monet Ave.

Blaze also has locations in Riverside and Cabazon, and is opening soon in Eastvale.

Share Italian with the Let’s Dine Out crew

Reservations are now being taken for the latest Let’s Dine Out Show Grub Club event.

Allen Borgen and crew will host diners at Domenico’s Italian Kitchen, 890 Oak Valley Parkway in Beaumont. The event is scheduled to take place from 4 to 7 p.m. March 8.

Participants will sample 14 different dishes, including four different pizzas. Cost is $42 per person, which includes tax, tip and a non-alcoholic beverage.

Rancho Cucamonga Pieology celebrates one year, releases “Frozen” reinterpretation

The Rancho Cucamonga Pieology had its first anniversary yesterday (September 1), and the pizzeria celebrated by uploading a clever video reinterpretation of the song “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” from the movie “Frozen.”

You can watch it below.

If you want to visit the restaurant, it’s at 8158 Day Creek Blvd., Suite 120.

Don’t expect them to break into song, however.

Redlands Pieology’s three-day pizza giveaway begins Sunday

Pieology RedlandsJust as it did with its Rancho Cucamonga pizzeria, Pieology is gearing up for three days of pizza giveaways as a kind of a stress test as a preamble to its Redlands store opening.

On Sunday (July 13), giveaway times are brief and limited to the pizzeria’s “menued” pizzas from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., 3:30 to 4:15 p.m. and 7:30 to 8:15 p.m.
